Haas Campaign: Haas Endorses Chris Larson for Milwaukee County Board

February 20, 2008 — Milwaukee — Jason Haas, former candidate for the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors, has endorsed Chris Larson for the April 1 general election.

“The voters of the Fourteenth District have spoken, and they want Chris Larson to represent them on the Milwaukee County Board of Supervisors,” Haas said. “I congratulate Chris on his decisive win in the primary, and I am proud to give him my endorsement and full support.

“Chris has earned my endorsement for two reasons. First, he is committed to working full time on the County Board. Given the dire financial and infrastructure problems the County faces, we need all of our County representatives working full time to restore and renew the County.

“Second, Chris knows that having clean parks will ensure a higher quality of life for all of us in Milwaukee County, and he will fight to get the county parks the full funding they deserve. I know Chris has the judgment and wisdom to make a great Supervisor. I look forward to voting for Chris on April 1st.”

“Finally, thank you to my great neighbors in Bay View and Milwaukee’s South Side, and to outgoing Supervisor Richard Nyklewicz for his many years of service.”

Larson won the February 19 primary with 4,540 votes. Haas came in fourth place with 1,413 votes.
