Further proof that abstinence-only sex education works!

Just ask Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin’s pregnant, unwed 17-year-old daughter

  1. Consult thy talking points. From Rupert Murdoch’s Wall Street Journal:

MSNBC notes that during her 2006 gubernatorial race in Alaska, Palin supported abstinence-only education policies.

“‘Will you support funding for abstinence-until-marriage education instead of for explicit sex-education programs, school-based clinics, and the distribution of contraceptives in schools?’ the survey asked, ‘Yes, the explicit sex-ed programs will not find my support,’ Palin responded.”

  2. Thanks for the link. I’ve found several sources with her stating she is pro-contraception. I’m now wondering if she is pro-abstinence for educational (minors) purpose and pro-birth control for women’s issues? Seems an odd way to split your views, if so.
