Krauthammer (yes, the one you’re thinking of) calls the race for Obama

Sometimes you can call a game in the third quarter, or the ninth inning. Beyond saying McCain’s kayak appears to be lost on the rapids, I won’t attempt any further sports analogies. Rightie pundit Charles Krauthammer has called the race for Obama, saying that McCain has thrown one too many Hail Marys. (h/t TPM.) However, this is not the time for us to start popping the champaign bottles. As of this writing, there are still 31 days and 758 hours left until the election. Just because McCain has supposedly withdrawn from Michigan doesn’t mean we can stop there. There’s still hijinx afoot to scrub voter lists and intimidate first-time voters away from the polls.

I now devote my Fridays to helping the Obama campaign. This is not one that we can sit out and let the home team win. In this game, we can all get on the field, even if we’re just running water to the players or sorting mail at the campaign office. This race is vital to the future of America as a land of liberty and freedom. Let’s get out there and make it happen! Visit my.barackobama.com to find an office near you and ask how you can help. This is too important to sit out!
