Local radio coverage of Sweet Water Organics by WUWM

I was happy to hear a piece during Morning Edition about Sweet Water Organics, the marvelous abandoned factory that has been transformed into an aquaculture facility, an urban farm wherein they grow fish and vegetables in the same structure. WUWM’s environmental reporter Susan Bence did a story about when perch were put into Sweet Water’s fish-growing system. (Godsil: nice camera!)

WUWM: One Step Closer to Sweet Water Goal

(Make sure you listen to the supplemental audio, which is from when the old factory was first being transformed.)

Also: Will Allen of Growing Power was interviewed for the WUWM show Lake Effect.
