Rep. Wood sentenced for OWI, will have some time in the plink

So it is: “controversial state lawmaker Jeff Wood was sentenced to 45 days in Columbia County Jail and a $1,500 fine after pleading no contest to an OWI charge on Monday,” according to Channel 3 in Madison. It was his third OWI arrest in recent time. I think he’d be in for a tougher penalty if it happens again.

The drunk buck who tried to drive his huge SUV through my tiny car down in Georgia had to spend 30 days in the Chatham County jail each summer for five years. Still didn’t stop him from graduating from Princeton and working on Wall Street. But it kind of makes sense what’s happened on Wall Street, now, doesn’t it?
